Psychiatric Evaluation
60-90 Minute Telehealth Visit
During this appointment, we’ll discuss your symptoms, past treatments, family and social history, and medical background. We’ll also discuss your goals for treatment. I’ll answer any questions you have about treatment options and the process. If we decide that medication is part of your treatment, I can usually prescribe it during this first visit. Keep in mind that medications might not always be prescribed right away, and I might not be able to refill any existing prescriptions during this visit.
Follow-Up for Medication Management or Biologically Based Therapies
20-30 Minute Telehealth Visits
I’ll only prescribe medication if I really think it will help you, and we’ll always make medication decisions together.
If we’re changing your medication or starting something new, I’ll see you every 2-4 weeks to keep an eye on your progress and make sure you’re not having any problems. If you’re doing well, we can schedule appointments every 60-90 days. You’ll get medication refills during your appointments to last until the next one. It’s important to come to your follow-up appointments so you don’t run out of medication.
Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Evaluation
30 Minute Telehealth Evaluation
I understand the important role that emotional support animals (ESAs) play in the well-being of individuals facing mental health challenges. I provide letters for ESAs in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). To ensure that each request meets these stringent standards, a separate, comprehensive ESA evaluation is required. This assessment helps me to accurately determine the necessity of an emotional support animal for your specific situation. Please note that an additional fee applies for this specialized service.
Genetic Testing
Genetic testing is specific to you as an individual. This testing provides valuable insights to help inform our treatment plan, potentially reducing medication trial and error, decreasing or eliminating potential side effects, and shortening your road to recovery.
